Little Known Fact:

When I was in 4th grade, I would get bloody noses really easily. When the teacher would ask us to do something boring like "Silent Reading Time" I would hit my nose until it started bleeding, so that I could go to the nurse and be out of class for awhile.
I didn't do in everyday, just when I was exceptionally bored.

Are you on your medication right now?

I am not sure it is a good thing to admit this while your kids are still young enough to use it against you.

Thanks for the laugh, Jen. You make me feel better that my kids just ask to go to the bathroom to get out of reading. I am so not mentioning this to any of my students.

Hey--I'm a bit slow on the blog thing (as I too have 4 kids and am older than dirt and thus predisposed to computer non-knowledge)but I sat tonight and read up through the Elder Holland stories. What a blessing to be able to look back and see how the Lord prepared you for this trial. I have seen that happen over and over in our family these past three years. It always strengthens me to look back and see all the people and events that have come into our path to help us with trials. It really is reassuring to see the Lord's hand in your life. On another note--I too can fall asleep anyway--I think it is a genetic anomoly.

I'd still like to hear the story of how you broke your ankle. I hope the drugs are still treating you well:).

That's humorous. Poor teacher. I think I would have started ignoring you. Let you bleed to death.
