Singin the Blues... kinda

So I've never uploaded a video before, so it has taken me forever. BUT I think I finally got it.

It has been a busy week. Kelly had a Science Fair, then our car broke down (don't we love KIA's)and to top it off I got a phone call from my MIL on Friday saying that she was coming to see us... today (well Friday, but you get the idea.)

It worked out really well though (I hope she agrees), we had a great weekend and the kids had a blast playing with Gram. Oh and to top it off we went to our good friend's annual Lip Sync. So that is what this video is of. It is Adam, me and our friends Lizzie and Dave. We all look similar so if you are wondering which one I am... the fluffy one. We had alot of fun. It seems each year we do it, all of the acts get better and better.

Okay, now I expect everyone to watch this stupid video, BECAUSE it has taken me a ton of time to learn how to download this. Just so you know it will probably be the last video ever (unless someone can teach me how to do this.)

The amazing video comes from camerawoman Jenny Livingston. I think her technique rivals many of the greats in cinematography .

Okay, that was amazing. It turned out so well!

how long did it take to choreograph that?

It didn't take too long. I knew what I wanted for most of it, it was just a couple of places that I wasn't sure. It did help that the other couple were open to anything and very willing to practice.

So did yours get voted the best all-round?

There is no voting silly girl! It is all about looking like a wierdo and loving it. Which all of the acts did well. Besides there were some really funny ones this year.

Oh, BTW, I'm not ignoring your email. The newborn doesn't really let me use the computer two-handed, so I have some various computer catching-up to do--will write back soon!

I think this was my first time to actually see the "infamous" worm move. You can really get down. It's worth the hype. I couldn't really see it during practice because I was too busy hanging from Dave's ankles and being spun around by Adam. It was fun.

Jen - I am cracking up! I see I really missed a great show... and I am especially sad that I missed Adam in his blue stretch pants again!

Adrian and I just watched this together, and he said "that was tight!" Unfortunately my man still uses this word but fortunately it means he loved the video. We were going to go but JuJu had the pink eye, ewww!
Anyway, good thing we didn't, because Adrian wanted us to lip sync to an old band called Megadeath. Now that would not have been "tight."
