We watched Pollyanna last week.
This week Tommy was climbing a tree. He was getting pretty high.
What was Adam's response?... "Remember what happened to Pollyanna".
(for those who forgot, she fell and was paralyzed)
What a guy. That is obviously our parenting tip of the week.

WHAT??? You just RUINED Pollyanna for me. I was waiting to watch that this weekend for the first time with my Kids. We JUST got it. I am not sure how much I want to watch it now that the movie has been spoiled. How rude.

I use examples like that all the time. So Adam should ask himself... do I want to be THAT kind of parent?

My mom would never let us climb trees. That's probably why. She would always say I would become paralyzed. I still don't like to climb them.
Oh but she went away for surgery.. She was repaired!!!
